Webinar: Can Career and Technical Education Improve Student Outcomes?

There has been a resurgence of interest in career and technical education (CTE) in high schools, yet questions about the effects of CTE remain. How can CTE programs better adapt to the demands of changing job markets? How can CTE policies provide better opportunities to disadvantaged populations? In this webinar, Shaun Dougherty, Ed.D, associate professor of Public Policy and Education at Vanderbilt University and co-principal investigator of the CTE Research Network, discusses the evidence on these and other issues. Hosted by the Institute for Research on Poverty at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. There is no cost to participate.
