Summer 2026 Research Training Institute

The CTE Research Network 2.0 will host an intensive, week-long training institute designed to prepare the next generation of CTE researchers. The training will build the capacity of researchers to plan and conduct high-quality studies of CTE programs, practices, and policies. Participants will learn from experienced CTE researchers and experts in research methodology.
Applications for the 2026 Training Institute were due March 26, 2026.

CTE Research Fundamentals:
This collection includes resources to help researchers design and execute rigorous studies of CTE, including measuring CTE exposure, identifying counterfactual conditions, and assessing CTE program costs at each stage of the research process.
Practitioner Training Modules:
Designed for CTE practitioners and state agency staff, this series of modules will strengthen capacity to access, conduct, understand, and use CTE research.
Network 1.0 Training Institutes:
Explore archived materials from the Network 1.0 2020 and 2023 Institutes, such as agendas, assigned readings, presentations, and recordings.
