Description:
The P-TECH Grades 9–14 model seamlessly connects high school, postsecondary education, and workforce training to provide a path to high-wage jobs in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). A network research team at MDRC is conducting the first rigorous study of the model. Promising evidence after three years of high school finds that P-TECH students in New York City had earned two more overall credits than students in comparison schools, an increase driven by extra credits in career and technical education (CTE).
