REL Tool: Self-Study Guide for Career Readiness in Secondary Schools
This self-study guide helps educators at the state and local levels assess the implementation of their career readiness practices. The goal is to identify strengths as well as areas that need improvement to help guide districts or secondary schools. This guide provides evidence-based information and discussion questions to promote effective career readiness practices in secondary schools. Four areas of implementation featured in the guide are (1) preparing career-ready students, (2) teaching and advising, (3) counseling, and (4) building school and career networks.
