Are there differences in the number and type of career and technical education (CTE) programs of study to which students have access based on their race/ethnicity or socioeconomic background? A cross-Network team representing the Research Alliance for New York City Schools, the University of Connecticut, and Vanderbilt University studied high schools in Connecticut and New York and found significant differences in access to some career clusters for students from areas with proportionally more Black/Latinx students.
