This issue brief by RTI International is part of a body of work on the implementation and outcomes of state-supported certification programs for high school students through Florida's Career and Professional Education (CAPE) Act. In the Florida Industry Certification Study, RTI examined the strategies that Florida districts and schools use to help high school students earn industry-recognized certifications and the benefits and challenges of these programs. The experiences of Florida's districts and schools can inform policymakers and educators in the state and nationally.
