This brief from the Youth Policy Lab at the University of Michigan focuses on career and technical education (CTE) as one way to support students with disabilities throughout their education pathways. The brief provides a summary of CTE participation among students with disabilities in Michigan. In addition, the authors present descriptive findings showing that Michigan students with disabilities who enrolled in CTE went on to graduate high school at higher rates compared to observably similar students who did not enroll in CTE.
