This report and companion infographic highlight a Fordham Institute study that used Arkansas data to explore whether students benefit from CTE coursework—and, more specifically, from focused sequences of CTE courses aligned to certain industries. The report also describes the current CTE landscape, including which students are taking CTE courses and which and how many courses these students are taking. Shaun M. Dougherty, co-principal investigator for the CTE Research Network and associate professor of public policy and education at Vanderbilt University, led the research team and authored the report.
