Career and Technical Education in High School and Postsecondary Pathways in Washington State
This CALDER working paper describes a study of the postsecondary transitions of high school students who took career and technical education (CTE) courses in Washington State. The study focused on CTE concentrators' postsecondary outcomes, such as college enrollment and graduation, enrollment and completion of vocational programs, and employment, and how these outcomes compared to those of other high school students in the state.
