This two-page Data Point report from the National Center for Education Statistics examines career and technical education (CTE) coursetaking in 2013 among public high school graduates in city, suburban, town, and rural schools. The report finds that graduates from towns and rural areas earn more credits in CTE than do graduates from cities and suburban areas. The report uses data from the 2013 high school transcripts collected as part of the High School Longitudinal Study of 2009.
