The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Research Network seeks to expand the evidence base on the impact of CTE programs on student outcomes and is working to encourage more rigorous research—studies designed to show a causal impact—to meet that goal. This blog post aims to demystify causal impact and explain its value to CTE practitioners.
Our 2020 CTE Research Training Institute was a great success—even with the sudden shift to a virtual setting. Shaun Dougherty, network co-principal investigator, and Jill Walston, network training lead, reflect on the five-day institute and its goal of building the next generation of CTE researchers.
